About Us

Worden Insurance was founded in 1967. Although we have grown substantially in the past 50 years our philosophy remains unchanged. Very simply stated, ours is a SERVICE organization.  As of January 1, 2018, we have become a Division of McDougall Insurance Brokers, but will continue to serve you from the same location, with the same staff.

We have a team of Insurance Specialists and encourage continuous education annually as part of our ongoing effort to offer clients the very best in insurance programs.

Everyone in our organization has the desire to provide high quality service to our clients. Our ‘motto’ has always been “CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS OUR SUCCESS,” and to that end we are dedicated to providing trusted insurance products and solutions.

Worden Insurance is very actively involved in the community and we proudly support the following charities:

Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade
Every year early in October, Worden Insurance is proud to host the Pink Ladies Gala to raise funds for WICC, Durham Cancer Society and Hearth Place. This event has taken place annually for the past six years and it’s our hope we will continue for many years to come. The participants have a great time decked out in their pink pajamas. The event includes a prize for the best outfit, silent and live auction, door prizes and of course a delicious spaghetti dinner. To date Worden has raised over $35,852.67 for these causes.

Durham Humane Society

Worden Insurance is an avid supporter of the Humane Society. Our donations helped to rebuild the Humane Society after the tragic fire and we continue to support them as much as we can.

Basset Hound Rescue of Ontario
Worden Insurance donates annually to support the Basset Hound Rescue of Ontario in their endeavour to place abandoned/unwanted basset hounds in a suitable, loving and permanent home.

Denise House & Oshawa Food Bank
Each holiday season Worden Insurance supports Denise House and the Oshawa Food Bank with donations of much needed food, clothing and household goods items.
